Ecocolor Announcement

Hey Girls,

I just got my hair done from Ecocolors Natural Hair Salon this weekend!!!.  I am so happy I found this salon for my natural hair.   If you have not seen my video on Ecocolors, please check it out!!!  As many of you know, I put color in my hair, but I wanted a company who was mindful of the chemicals in their products.  Okay, let me get to the reason I am writing this post.  Ecocolors will be at the next natural hair show in Atlanta, Georgia.  Therefore, this will be a great opportunity for all of you to ask the wonderful people of Ecocolors about their product yourself.  So be sure to check out their website for more about thier products.  Also check out my past video of me talking all about my experience with Ecocolor Hair Color.  Please know that Nic and I will always be looking for products to help you live life naturally!

Shea Moisture "Curling Souffle" A Product Review

I did a video review, but I wanted to write a review as well on the product as well.  Shea Moisture is a great brand that many people can afford for their whole family.  This curling souffle hit the spot in living up to the hype of being a great natural gel for your "natural curls" or as a gel. However, I do not like using gel every week on my hair.  I usually change my hairstyle week to week to make sure I am not using to much gel.  This is also a way to keep the product a little longer in my opinion.  I would also recommend that you guys smell this product.  The smell and the form of this gel let you know that this is a natural product that do not have a lot of artificial ingredients in it.  ( I love that the gel moves very easily between my hands.)  Therefore go to your local Target or Walgreens and get this product.  I believe it can become a great staple in your household.

Back In The Game

I hope you have been enjoying Nic and Shun.  This site is so important to Nic and me to help others be excited about people living the best life they can live.   With that said, I want to make sure I am walking the talk as well.  I have a confession to make to all the people who read this blog.  I need to make sure I am doing my part as well.   As a working professional, it is so easy to get caught up in your life, and forget what is important to you.  This site is one of the few things in life that I can say I am truly working with a community who wants the best for the people who support this site.  Therefore, thanks guys for all the support you all have given to Nic and Shun.  I am back in the game.

Meeting Up All About Hair

Hey everyone,

I was able to go to a great meet up on natural hair in Atlanta, GA.  It was so amazing to be around other "naturals" in the Atlanta area.  As I previously mention, I do not live in a community with many people rocking the natural hair.  Therefore, this meet and greet sponsored by Karen Body Beautiful came in the nick of time.  Once my hair grows a little longer, I will be able to "rock" some of the hair styles I saw at the event.  The moment that made the event special to me was meeting Mae from "Natural Chica.com" .  She was so nice and friendly to me.  I even got a chance to take a picture with her.

There were many giveaways to help us "naturals"maintain our lovely hair.  I also had a chance to meet a wonderful sales rep named Grace from the company.  She said that there were opportunities to sell Karen's Body Beautiful products. Therefore, that could be a great opportunity for anyone who needs some extra money.  I believe her products were reasonably price.  I will be checking out herwebsite.  Well, "naturals" keep doing what you love naturally.
